Yeerongpilly Green

The Yeerongpilly Green project required the installation of a trenchless drain, a critical infrastructure component. The site presented challenges in terms of ground stability and accessibility for the heavy lifting equipment needed for the installation.

To successfully install the drain, a stable and secure platform was needed for a crane to operate safely. The ground conditions required protection to prevent damage and ensure the stability of the heavy machinery.

Dura-Base Composite Mats were selected to provide the necessary crane access and operating platform. The mats interlocking system created a continuous, stable surface capable of supporting the point loads of the crane outriggers and the weight of the machinery.

By using Dura-Base mats, the project team ensured that the crane had safe access to the installation point and a solid footing for lifting operations. The mats also acted as a protective barrier, distributing the load and preventing damage to the underlying ground.

The use of Dura-Base mats enabled the successful installation of the trenchless drain. The crane was able to operate safely and efficiently, and the site ground was protected from significant disturbance. The mats were easily removed upon completion, leaving the site in good condition.
