What are DuraBase Composite Mats? DuraBase bog mats, also known as DuraBase composite mats, are heavy-duty ground protection and temporary roadway panels used in construction, oil & gas, utilities, renewable energy, and remote access work sites. They are designed to create stable working surfaces over soft, muddy, uneven, or environmentally sensitive terrain. Benefits of DuraBase Bog Mats Reusable platforms and roads in place of traditional methods of trucking aggregates or building concrete pads A single semi-trailer can hold up to 420sqm worth of mat coverage. Composite matting can reduce or replace the need for single-use materials, reducing overall landfill waste. Dura-Base mats are made of non-porous HDPE, which minimises the risk of cross-contamination while working in sensitive sites.
